EU OKs News Corp To Buy Germany's Premiere, With Conditions

European Commission Wednesday cleared News Corp.'s (NWS) potential takeover of German pay-TV station Premiere AG (PRE.XE), with the condition that other operators be allowed to use Premiere's satellite platform. Commission said it was worried the deal would prevent other pay-TV operators from reaching subscribers through Premiere's set-top boxes

The auto magazine's writers and editors proclaimed Mazda had achieved what it set out to do: imbue a three-row crossover SUV with the soul of a sports car.
